Eligibility:

Undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university or its equivalent.  Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by 1 August 2018 before orientation begins. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it will be important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate major, to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field.

Age Requirement.
Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of 1 August 2018.

English language proficiency.
Applicants must demonstrate strong English language skills, as all teaching will be conducted in English. If the applicant’s native language is not English, official English proficiency test scores must be submitted with the application. Acceptable test options are:

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:

The scholarship value is up to $140,500 (Masters) or $272,500 (PhD). It includes travel allowance ($AUD 3,000), establishment allowance ($AUD 4,000), monthly stipend ($AUD 3,000; up to maximum programme duration on a pro-rata basis).  Health and travel insurance will also be provided for international recipients.

Endeavour Scholarship recipients will also receive tuition fees paid up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis. Tuition includes student service and amenities fees.

The duration of the scholarship is up to 2 years for a Masters and up to 4 years for a PhD.

For the academic year of 2017-2018, University College West is offering scholarships for international fee-paying students. Scholarships are open for students admitted for any of University’s master programmes.

University West is a university college located in Trollhättan, in southwestern Sweden. Until 2008, the college was called University College of Trollhättan/Uddevalla and had three campuses, in Trollhättan, Uddevalla and Vänersborg, but all study programmes have been relocated to new facilities in Trollhättan.
