45 UNISA Scholarship Program for International Students in Italy

The University of Salerno is inviting applications for UNISA Scholarship Program. Scholarships are available for international students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree abroad and wish to enroll in a master degree course (2nd cycle: Laurea Magistrale) academic year 2017-2018.

40 NABA Postgraduate Scholarships for International Students in Italy, 2017

Nuova Accademia di Belle Artio (NABA) is offering 40 scholarships for all new international students. Scholarships cover (60%, 50%, 40% and 20%) the tuition fees to attend the postgraduate programs starting next September.

Founded in 1980, NABA is the largest private art academy in Italy. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Italian and English that are accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).

6 PhD Scholarships in International Studies University of Trento, Italy

The PhD programme lasts three years, with a start date on 1 November 2017. The scholarships are funded as follows:

  • 5 by the University of Trento, Italy
  • 1 by European Research Academy of Bolzano (EURAC Research).

The scholarship is awarded for three years, subject to satisfactory progress, and is increased by 50% during research periods abroad. The scholarship is adequate to cover living expenses in Trento; no tuition fees are charged.

RESEARCH

Besides the main research strand of the School of International Studies that deals with ‘Integration and disintegration of the European Union’, particular emphasis will be given to research projects on the following subjects:

ELIGIBILITY

Academic Duties & Rights at  University of Padova

  • The admitted International students will share all obligations, duties and rights of the other Galilean students. In particular, students must:
  • choose and enroll in the 1st year of a Second Cycle Degree of the University of Padova
  • attend the regular courses and seminars of their chosen program, and pass the relevant exams at the required dates, with scores not less than 24/30 in any single exam and an average score not less than 27/30;
  • attend the courses and seminars given by the Galilean School, and pass the relevant exams with the same scores as above.
  • They will share their experience and ideas with the other Galilean students, and will adhere to the disciplinary rules of the College where they are hosted;
  • write an additional, final Galilean thesis, within one year after obtaining their Master Degree, under the supervision of an advisor of their choice but approved by the School, on a subject different from that of the Master thesis.
  • Following the successful defence of the Galilean thesis, the student will receive the Galilean Diploma.

Benefits:

  • The School will reimburse one round trip ticket from/to the country of origin (economy class) up to 1.500,00 Euros for each Academic Year, and cover the cost of books and miscellaneous documented expenses of educational nature, authorized and within reasonable limits.
  • The School will provide free room and board in the University student houses and canteens.

Gran Sasso Science Institute, School of Advanced Studies is offering 18 postdoctoral fellowships in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Social Sciences. The research grants are awarded for two years and their yearly amount is € 36.000,00 gross.
